Emergency Physician, Monash Health and Victorian Virtual Emergency Department

Dr Rajan Kailainathan is a Consultant Emergency Physician at Monash Health and Deputy Workforce & Operations at the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department. He is Co-founder and Co-convenor of the Emergency Medicine Symposium and Founder of the Intelligent Mind Institute. A clinician with a strong interest in healthcare innovation, he has led the clinical development and deployment of IRIS, an intelligent workforce platform, and Intelligent Consult, an AI-enabled clinical documentation platform. His work focuses on using technology to solve practical healthcare problems while preserving clinical judgement, human connection and patient-centred care.
