The WiSE Business started in 2017 with the opening of WiSE Specialist Emergency Clinic at Macquarie Park, a unique concept that pushed political boundaries and focused on providing a patient centred approached to immediate medical care. The business model identified caters for the 70% of patients who would otherwise be presenting to the hospital emergency departments and don’t require admission to hospital. These patients often are triaged as a low priory and thus wait for lengthy hours in the hospital emergency departments. WiSE provides a convenient alternative where patients are seen by Specialist Emergency Physicians, The clinic also offers onsite pathology labs, x-rays, CT-scans, ultra-sounds to enable rapid diagnostics. WiSE has grown to 3 Clinics and 1 Emergency Department., with another 2 Clinics to be opened in 2027.
