MIPS provides indemnity insurance to doctors, dentists, oral health practitioners and NMTs. This is the insurance you need as a healthcare practitioner to cover legal costs and damages if you are sued and to defend/assist you to handle patient complaints or investigations by authorities such as AHPRA or Medicare/PSR. MIPS is a not-for-profit and exists to support and protect the character and interests of its members.
