I am Dr Bandana Priya Prasad, a Senior Emergency Medicine Registrar at CWM Hospital in Suva, Fiji. I am currently in my final year of the Master of Emergency Medicine at Fiji National University. I am passionate about emergency medicine, teaching, leadership and research My current research focuses on gender-based violence in the Emergency Department and improving care for vulnerable patients. I enjoy teaching and mentoring junior doctors and interns and contributing to the development of emergency medicine in Fiji. Outside of medicine, I love travelling, listening to music, enjoying good food, exploring new places and cultures, and binge-watching a good TV series.
