Amit completed speciality training in the UK in 2017 and holds dual fellowships, FRCEM (UK) and FACEM. He relocated to Australia in 2024 and has a background in diagnostic ultrasound and simulation. He has a strong interest in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) education, having delivered and supported “train-the-trainer” and provider programs across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and contributed to the development of the RCEM POCUS curriculum in the UK.
He is currently Head of Service, Clinical Governance at St John of God Hospital, Midland.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters
