Verity is a FACEM based in Boorloo/Perth in Western Australia. She works at both Fiona Stanley Hospital and St John of God Midland Hospital Emergency Departments. She has a Graduate Diploma in Health Professions Education and is involved in simulation, education and Fellowship examination programs.
Verity has a special interest in improving the ED experience for LGBTQIA+ITSB staff and patients. She is conducting research into the effects of LGBTQIA+ITSB-specific staff education, as well as developing an LGBTQIA+ITSB consumer survey to accurately measure the patient experience within Emergency Departments in Australia.
