Dr Charmaine Gray is an Emergency Physician and Director of Emergency Medicine Research at Southern Adelaide Local Health Network, and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Flinders University. She completed a PhD examining the management of acute severe paediatric asthma and leads a broad program of emergency medicine research. Her work spans paediatric asthma, clinical prediction, outcome measurement, models of emergency care and health-service improvement. Charmaine has secured competitive research funding, including MRFF funding, and leads national and international collaborative research. She is particularly interested in translating clinically relevant research into evidence-based practice and improving outcomes for patients presenting to emergency departments.
