ACEM ASM 2026 is committed to delivering a thoughtful, inclusive and responsible meeting in Boorloo, Perth. This year’s ASM will be hosted at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, a venue with an established sustainability strategy focused on responsible environmental practices, community engagement, ethical business operations and continuous improvement.
What ACEM ASM is doing
No delegate satchels
Delegate satchels will not be provided, reducing material use and waste to landfill.
Recyclable name badges
Name badges are made mostly from recyclable and biodegradable materials. Badge recycling bins will be available at the event to collect badges and lanyards for reuse or recycling.
Reusable lanyards
Delegates will be encouraged to retain and reuse their ACEM lanyards at future events.
Collectable delegate pin
A collectable ASM pin will be provided in place of a traditional delegate gift.
Meeting app
Program, sponsor and event information will be available digitally, reducing the need for printed materials.
Eco-friendly exhibition and event signage
Event signage will use 100% recycled board options and recyclable corflute fascias. Signage will be produced using HP Latex printing technology with eco-friendly, water-based inks, while exhibition stands will use reusable or modular aluminium frame systems.
Meat-free Monday***
Monday delegate catering will showcase satisfying, varied plant-based and meat-free options, supported by clear pre-event and onsite messaging.
