Dr Stephanie Schlueter, is a rural Emergency Physician working in Albany, WA.
Born and raised in Germany, Steph graduated from medical school in Berlin and set off to Australia in 2008 beginning her Emergency Medicine journey in Bunbury and Busselton. Here, her connection and passion for rural EM began and as they say, “The rest is history”.
As the Committee Chair for the ACEM Emergency Medicine Associateship Training Programs since 2022 and the Director and Program Lead for the ACEM Emergency Medicine Education and Training (EMET) WACHS Central Hub since 2016, she is a passionate educator and advocate supporting anyone wanting to go rural. When not in the hospital or travelling for education, Steph enjoys “helping” on the sheep and cattle farm and trail running with her dogs.
