Dr Renee Pearman is an Emergency Physician based in Western NSW. She first ventured west of the Blue Mountains as a medical student, when a 12 month university placement turned into a long term move. Following several years away to continue FACEM training, she completed fellowship in 2022 and now holds Consultant positions at Emergency Departments in Orange and Dubbo, and teaches students at the University of Sydney.
Renee is a member of the ACEM Rural, Regional and Remote Advisory Committee. She is passionate about supporting rural trainees, having been one herself not so long ago, and tries to fit in as much medical education as possible between clinical shifts.
When not at work, Renee can be found wrangling her two daughters and new puppy, convincing Sydneysiders to visit Orange wine country, or planning her next family skiing holiday.
