Dr Kym Moiler was born and raised in the Perth Hills, completing her medical training at the University of Western Australia and specialty training in Perth. A FACEM since 2019, she currently works at Fiona Stanley Hospital as Deputy Head of Department and was previously working at Midland Hospital. Kym has served as a WA representative on the Council of Advocacy, Practice and Partnerships (CAPP) from 2025 and has interests in simulation, education and leadership. She is actively involved in delivering educational content on managing behavioural disturbance and is passionate about improving ED care for First Nations people. Kym also has a physiotherapy degree from Curtin University and has worked in London as a Physiotherapist. She is a travel, champagne and equestrian enthusiast recently dipping her toe back into the eventing scene after a seven year hiatus. Kym is the mother to three young and extremely active children and spends most weekend days supporting their sporting activities. Kym is a co-convenor for the ACEM ASM in Perth 2026.
