Dr Jackie Davidson is a local FACEM and proud to be part of the great team of women leaders in Emergency Medicine in South Australia. She brings her 25 year Emergency career to her newest post at the SA Virtual Care Service, a public statewide emergency care provider, where she has worked since its inauguration in 2021, including being a member of the development team.
She has previously been DEM, and DEMT at Modbury Hospital, Adelaide, where she continues as an Emergency Physician alongside the virtual ED role.
She is highly invested in the wellbeing and education of both FACEMs and trainees.
Her passions include improving the quality of emergency care for older patients and patients in regional areas, as well as health reform and economics. Her particular field of interest and expertise is in the design, implementation and evaluation of new models of emergency care.
