Fredrick Koha

Southern Highlands Provincial Health Authority, Papua New Guineae

Dr Fredrick Koha is the sole emergency physician in Mendi Provincial Hospital in Southern Highlands Province, PNG. He is leading the emergency response there including implementation of the Interagency Integrated Triage Tool (IITT). Dr Koha is a leader and has been involved in the development of the new ED in Mendi Provincial Hospital, where he has been a supervisor of Diploma trainees at Mendi. Dr Koha runs the main ED in the province and also provides oversight to smaller district hospitals.

He is also a Master Trainer Of W.H.O Basic Emergency Care Course in PNG.
