Anthony Mattick trained in emergency medicine in Edinburgh before moving to Western Australia, where he has worked predominantly in tertiary emergency departments with occasional rural practice. He completed the DDU in emergency medicine ultrasound a decade ago and integrates point-of-care ultrasound daily into bedside diagnostics.
He is the clinical lead for ultrasound across the Wheatbelt region of WA and has contributed internationally through POCUS training in Nepal.
Outside of medicine, life is full of family adventures as a proud father of a six-year-old son. When time allows, he seeks out mountain ranges to recharge and balance the demands of work and parenthood.
