Alex Matthews

Alex is an emergency trainee with a passion for global health. He grew up in Meanjin Brisbane, the youngest of three boys. Alex has participated in HIV policy writing and advocacy in the Philippines, scabies and soil-transmitted helminth research in Timor-Leste, and, most recently, an ACEM visiting registrar placement at Port Moresby General Hospital ED from August 2023 to June 2024.
