Dr. Tess Wiskel is an emergency medicine physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and faculty at Harvard Medical School. She received her medical degree from the University of Chicago, completed Emergency Medicine Residency at Brown University, and completed a Climate and Human Health Fellowship and Master of Public Health at Harvard University.
Her work focuses on understanding and addressing the health impacts of climate-related extreme weather events in at-risk populations. She is currently a Harvard Global Health Institute Burke Fellow investigating heat impacts on health and well-being of workers in the informal sector in India.
