Stefan is an Emergency Physician in one of South Australia’s two Major trauma centres, The Royal Adelaide Hospital and a PreHospital and Retrieval physician with the state based retrieval service, SAAS MedSTAR,
Stefan has worked previously doing Emergency Medicine in Wellington, Perth, Birmingham, Auckland and Townsville, and PreHospital and Retrieval Medicine with NETS in New South Wales, Mediflight in South Australia, CareFlight in Queensland, as well as a period in London working for London HEMS in PreHospital trauma care.
Stefan is an examiner for the DipPHRM and has an academic position at the School of Public Health at James Cook University. He is also an examiner in retrieval medicine for the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He has published various papers and textbook chapters on prehospital care and disaster medicine, prehospital ultrasound, education, resuscitation, airway management, TXA and other interventions in the ED and PHRM environment.
