John Bonning

John has been a doctor for over 30 years and a specialist for over 20, now a practicing Emergency Physician in the Waikato, Aotearoa NZ working in both Waikato ED and in a national telehealth role. He has undertaken locum work annually in Alice Springs for the last 15 years. He is a past President of ACEM and was clinical director of Waikato ED for 8 years.

His passions include equity in healthcare, rational use of healthcare resources and spending as much time with friends, family and on a bicycle as he can.
