Angus is a non-invasive Imaging Cardiologist at Alice Springs Hospital in the Northern Territory. Alice Springs Hospital serves the Central Australian region, covering roughly 750,000 square kilometres, or about 60% of the Northern Territory, an area roughly the size of France. He is focussed on delivering evidence-based best-practise Cardiac care within rural and remote environments.
Angus has expertise in transthoracic and trans-oesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography and CT-coronary angiography. He has a keen in interest in premature coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease: in particular, rheumatic heart disease due to its’ high prevalence in Central Australia.
